Goju-Ryu Karate Moreton Bay Inc.

Karate Instructor Matt Longmuir Sensei has an extensive background in martial arts; a passion that began for him 27 years ago. Through his experience as a teacher, he has developed training opportunities that allow the participant to grow physically, psychologically, and spiritually. To do this, he works to incorporate both internal martial arts like influenced breathing techniques and isometric tension exercises and external martial arts, like body strengthening and conditioning, to provide the participant with a balanced experience. He earned his 1^st-degree black belt (Sho-dan) in 2002 while training under the guidance of Hanshi Frank T. Perry (United Kingdom Seiki-Juku Karate). 

In 2006 Matt Longmuir Sensei emigrated to Brisbane Australia and continued his training in Gōjū-Ryū Karate-Do Shuseikan under the guidance of Hanshi Seiichi Fujiwara, Gōjū-Ryū Karate-do Seiwakai.

Matt Longmuir Sensei travels to Japan regularly to train and was successfully graded to 4^th-degree (Yon-don) black belt in 2019 Gōjū-Ryū Karate-do Shuseikan. He is also a 3^rd-degree black belt (San-dan) in the Japan Karate-do Federation (JKF) Goju Kai.
